Reason for request

The FCS dept. at Henderson is very excited to have added another Foods class this year! As the budget will be staying the same as last year, though, we ask for a little help to make our dollar stretch further! One of my goals for students this year in my Foods classes is to develop units around Problem Based Learning. Two projects that will most likely be more expensive than my budget might allot for are cheese making (takes one week; students learn about the scientific process of cheesemaking, watch teacher demo, make mozzarella and ricotta, and then use that to make a baked pasta dish) and deceptively delicious kid-friendly meals.
